The thing about leadership is, it’s not about doing anymore. Many business owners and leaders get caught in that. They have a huge team of people, however, “busier” than ever. When leaders find themselves busier than ever, it’s the easiest place to lose sight of the big picture.

Do you think you are the leader because you sell well? Or you close customers successfully? Or develop new products, or innovate the best marketing campaigns? ~ These are all about the DO. DOING.

Your employees look to you for guidance, for decisions, for patience, for feedback, for clarity, for direction, for inspiration.

Leadership is about BEING because it’s about who you are. Your employees look to you for guidance, for decisions, for patience, for feedback, for clarity, for direction, for inspiration. If you are not these things, then who’s navigating the ship?

Hence, working on your BEING, strategizing, having CLARITY of what you want from your organization, the values you want to uphold, and inspiring your team. I’m not saying don’t do any work, and walk around and just magnetize your employees with your charisma, no that’s not what I’m saying. Just when you are being a great leader and coach to your team, you are not busy doing. You shouldn’t be, else you won’t be able to see the forest for the trees. And if you don’t, who will?
